Privacy policy

Effective 8 October 2026 · Applies to the Saumya Android app and this website

In short

1. Who we are

Saumya is a period-tracking app for Android. For any privacy question, write to yogirana5557@gmail.com.

2. What the app stores on your phone

To work, Saumya stores the following only on your device:

This data lives in the app's private storage and is removed when you erase it in the app or uninstall Saumya.

3. What we do not do

4. Permissions the app asks for

5. Backups and exports

Saumya can export your data to a file that is encrypted with a password you choose. The file is saved where you choose on your phone. You decide whether to store or share it. We cannot see it and cannot recover it: if you forget the password, the backup cannot be opened.

6. Your control

7. Feedback emails

If you email us, we receive your email address and what you write, and use it only to reply and improve the app. Please do not include health details. We do not add you to mailing lists.

8. This website

This website is static. It sets no cookies and uses no analytics. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of delivering the font files. The Saumya app itself loads nothing from the internet.

9. Children

Saumya is intended for people who have periods and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, because the app collects no data at all.

10. Not medical advice

Saumya shows estimates based on what you enter. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose or treat any condition and must not be used as contraception. Speak to a qualified doctor about health concerns.

11. Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes how it handles data, this policy will be updated first, and the date at the top will change.
